Believe Walk – Event signage that makes a statement

Every year Stater Bros. charities puts on the Redland’s Believe Walk to support those who have been affected by cancer. Statistics show that half of all men and one-third of all women in United States will develop cancer during their lifetimes. In the Inland Empire, the population is larger than that of 24 states who deserves the best cancer care. The Believe Walk fundraiser event is one way that can help make this care possible. We had the amazing opportunity once again to print the Believe Walk event signage that was displayed throughout the event itself. Let’s take a look at some the event signage that was produced to promote this annual walk.

Large coroplast signs are great sign options for event signage. Why? They are lightweight, durable and best off all affordable! Look how great the colors look, so clear and crisp. You can see these sign displayed very well from a distance as well as up close.

Now we have some banners. Banners are perfect for events and can be displayed at eye level or up high for distance readability. This banner was printed on our standard 13oz banner material and was hemmed with grommets for easy display ability. As you can see in the title the “L” is the pink ribbon which is the symbol for breast cancer awareness.

Banners, banners everywhere! The Believe Walk draws many people from various communities and would not be possible without the support of their sponsors. We printed several sponsorship banners recognizing those who helped make this event happen. In addition to sponsorship and awareness banners, there were banners made to encourage those who have been affected by cancer, via themselves or through family members. These banners were placed at the start and finish line of the charity walk.

Making a difference is what the Believe Walk is all about. Encouraging, Empowering and Engaging others to be a part of something powerful is what makes this event so special. This annual event is one way to help those in need, both emotionally and physically. We are so pleased to have the opportunity to work with this organization again this year.

Riverside Unveils 2018 Rose Parade Float – Event signage revealed

Have you heard about the new Rose Parade Float that will feature the Riverside Mission Inn? No? Well, I have news for you – the unveiling took place in September and the city long awaits this amazing exhibit.

The Mission Inn Hotel & Spa, has drawn millions of people to Riverside during the past 25 years by hosting the annual Festival of Lights, will take center stage on the city’s 2018 Rose Parade float, as seen in a design unveiled for the first time.

The float is Riverside’s first Rose Parade float in nearly 60 years and symbolizes the strong bond between the city and the historic hotel. The $300,000+ needed to prepare the float and pay for assorted other expenses were raised by the Greater Riverside Chambers of Commerce Foundation. More than 500,000 people visit Riverside each year during the six-week Festival of Lights, including 75,000 at the annual switch-on ceremony the day after Thanksgiving. The preparation for the Festival of Lights is quite an undertaking and begins in the summer months and includes many man hours, event signage, and most of all…lots and lots of lights.

Monster Media had the opportunity to create the event signage for the unveiling event and it turned out spectacular!

As you can see, the event signage is bold, vibrant and shows off the float image so clearly. This sign was printed on foam core so it is lightweight and easy to move around and display in various locations. This is just the beginning for The Festival of Lights in 2018! As the event draws near, more event signage will be displayed around the city.

Eat, Drink, Vegan Beer and Food Festival

This month we have been hard at work producing signage for Eat, Drink, Vegan. Eat, Drink, Vegan is a Vegan Beer and Food festival that took place at the Rose Bowl and Brookside Golf Course in Pasadena on May 27, 2017. They offered unlimited pours of 250+ drinks, over 75 restaurants, a vegan marketplace & more. We produced over 150 food and beverage banners for this event and other types of festival signs as well.

Because of the large number of vendors they had at Eat, Drink, Vegan, many durable festival banners were needed! And of course, grommets were a necessity to ensure easy hanging and durability. They had banners for food vendors, sponsors, drink vendors, marketplace shops, and more. Wow! We did over 200 festival signs for this awesome event. How crazy is that?

Aside from all the banners we did, we also produced a couple of cheap but durable coroplast signs as well. With all this signage the Eat, Drink, Vegan festival must have been a breeze to navigate through! I hope everyone had a great time at the festival and loved our event signage as well.

Filming in Progress!

Have you ever worked really hard to film a clip, only to be interrupted by someone? Too many times has this happened to me during the filming of a group project. Not only is it incredibly awkward when someone just prances in but it ruins the entire clip you were filming causing you to have to start filming from the start… If this is a problem for even for small group projects I can’t imagine what professionals go through when filming!

Here at Monster Media one of our recurring customers is nearby university, UCR! The University of California, Riverside trusts us with the printing of various banners, signs, posters, and more!

UCR takes matters into their own hands and make sure that no interrupting is done. UCR is currently in the midst of filming and in order to ensure good progress without interruptions they had us create coroplast signs for them! How creative! This really shows the versatility of coroplast signs, which is a great for cheap event signage! They can be used for so much more than just advertising for businesses!

UCR Coroplast Signs

The fall quarter may be over for UCR’s students, but UCR never closes! UCR is one of our most loyal customers, and it’s rare not to have some of their work in our production floor. We’ve recently created some coroplast signs from directional to promotional signage. From leading students to the correct office, to the promos for the current lunch specials, UCR works hard to create visual signs that help students get through the campus.

Whether you know students at UCR or at a different university, it can get tough actually finding what you’re looking for because of the large population and of course the fact that every university is like it’s own town. Riverside’s The Festival of Lights

Although Riverside may be known for its love of art, during Christmas time, it’s known for its holiday joy at The Festival of Lights. Following Thanksgiving, the “switch on” ceremony was conducted on November 25th where fireworks at the Mission Inn hotel lit up the Riverside night sky.

From a carousel to a century real, horse ride carriages, and train rides, to the food (especially the food) the Festival of Lights provides a family-friendly atmosphere full of holiday filled joy! We’ve worked with this festival before and always do their signage, such as these large coroplast signs for the Mission Inn Hotel & SpaThe Mission Inn offers Award-Winning Dining experiences such as buffets, and holiday champagne brunch! Paul Frank at Designer Con

Heading out to Designer Con? Well, get excited because Paul Frank will be in the building! For many us, Paul Frank is creator of the famous monkey, Julius, who helped sky rocket his career. He’ll be participating in Designer Con and will be having a booth ready for you to look at. We’re helping plenty of artists get ready for Designer Con, from creating their prints on wood, to creating directional signage such as the ones we made for Paul Frank’s booth.

Both Monster Media and Paul Frank share one thing in common: handmade art. Monster Media and Paul Frank create art handmade, and while we still use certain machines to get our banners and signs ready, we ensure that every banner is measured correctly and precisely cut using our own hands. Paul Frank started off with his own sewing machine, and ensuring every gift he made for his friends was perfect.

SB100 Sponsor Signage

We teamed up with the Santa Barbara 100 to create signage for their sponsors! The Santa Barbara 100 (SB100 for short) is a non-profit organization that donates all its profits to local charities that help fund education and support children and families in challenging environments, locally and abroad.

Some of the sponsors included is CLIF Bar, New Belgium Brewing, and many more! We used two different measurements and various colors in order to produce diversity among the silver and gold sponsors.

UCR Food Truck Tuesday Signage

On top of working on the UCR Food Truck Festival signage, we also made signage for UCR’s Food Truck Tuesday events! Every Tuesday of the month, UCR will have it’s food trucks up across the campus and ready for you to enjoy it’s delicious food!

Using coroplast (corrugated plastic), we created these signs that resemble yard signs, in order for the food trucks to announce the acceptance of meal swipes. We have a selection of sizes to use from such as this 18×24 sign. Our signs are durable and can withhold throughout time and are even weatherproof.
