When it comes to the holidays, Riverside is always on top of their game. Downtown Riverside annually holds Christmas festivities like The Festival of Lights, an ice skating rink, performances, and food stands during the month of December to help the community get in the holiday spirits! The highlight of these events above is Riverside's Festival of Lights, and this year will be the 23rd annual year (starting from November 27th- January 2nd, 2016). Riverside's Festival of Lights has received a lot of recognition of becoming into a beautiful winter wonderland for the community. Riverside transforms and decorates The Mission Inn and Spa with over 4 million lights, the largest mistletoe, and decorations along the main streets for people to enjoy. It's definitely a great way to spend the night with a significant other or with some friends. They'll be having a switch on ceremony on November 27th, 2015 at 4:30PM, which is the moment Downtown Riverside with be lit up with beautiful lights and amazing fireworks. This will definitely be a moment you won't want to miss. Being located in Riverside, California we got the amazing opportunity to help out The Festival of Lights with all their street pole banners and signage decorations. We created quite a few pole banners, all with different images to switch it up a bit. We put grommets on one side of the banner, since they will be put up onto poles. We also created the main large sign for the Festival of Lights that said Santa is Here. Lastly, we created the Ice Rink operation hours and rules onto smaller aluminum signs. Banners and signage, whether it is for informative or decorative reasons, definitely is the cherry on top for all events. All the banners and signage have the same theme, so we're excited to see the finished product of Downtown on the opening day!
