Solar Paneling

July 7th, 2009 by Jon

As a sort of follow up to the previous post on our blog about our new Natcon 7 Green Energy Portal we figured it might be nice to post some nice pictures of said solar panels on our roof. Part of maintaining the solar panels to allow them to function at their peak performance is keeping them clean and anyone who lives in the Inland Empire knows that our air is unfortunately not what you would call “clear”. Because of that our solar panels have a tendency to gather a good amount of dust and dirt on their cells so we have to go on the roof every now and again and hose them off. Here are some shots from one of our excursins up there.panels-4.jpgpanels-5.jpgpanels-1.jpgpanels-2.jpgpanels-3.jpg

Natcon 7 Green Energy Portal

July 6th, 2009 by Jon

As a lot of you know from our “Solar” & “Green” pages on our site, Monster Media Inc. is a company devoted to setting the standard on how businesses just like our own can do their part in diminishing the carbon footprint they leave on our planet with their day to day tasks. One of our proudest achievements was the addition of our solar panels to the roof of our building over a year ago. A recent new development involving those panels has been the addition of our brand new Natcon 7 Green Energy Portal monitoring system that will allow us to monitor our solar energy output via online access and share it with others to put quantifiable numbers on how much power we are putting back into the grid with our solar panels. More information will follow as we get the system completely up and running but for now we just wanted to share the progress we are making in our effort to be “green”.solar-1.jpgsolar-2.jpg

Sambazon Rob & Bob

July 6th, 2009 by Jon

Monster Media has had a long upstanding relationship with the beverage company Sambazon. One of our latest jobs with them is just at the end of being finished so I grabbed some shots to show off how cool it turned out. We printed some near lifesize prints of Bob Burnquist and Rob Machado with our HP Designjet L65500 on some billboard paper, mounted it to some of our thinner bioboard and then cut the whole thing out to shape with our large format cnc router to make custom cut standups for Sambazons advertising campaign.sambazon-1.jpgsambazon-2.jpgsambazon-5.jpgsambazon-3.jpgsambazon-4.jpgsambazon-6.jpgsambazon-7.jpg

Hangar 24 Craft Brewery

June 26th, 2009 by Jon

A local brewing company had us print some samples of different ways they could present themselves in various POP formats so we printed up a few different pieces on several different materials that can be used for advertising. Along with doing a couple of banners on our super smooth material and some controltac prints we also turned on the digital flatbed printer and printed two wood pieces and a couple of prints right onto some plain cardboard. Both sets turned out great and here are the pictures to prove it.hangar-1.jpghangar-4.jpghangar-5.jpghangar-61.jpghangar-7.jpghangar-9.jpghangar-10.jpg

Weekend Warrior Water

June 23rd, 2009 by Jon

Some promotional stickers printed on our new HP Designjet L65500 Latex Ink Printer just got packed away to be sent off to Weekend Warrior, a SoCal based RV Lifestyle company. The stickers were printed to help promote their Warrior Water product they are selling off of their website. The technology in our new grand format HP made these print come out even crisper and cleaner than any of our past prints. With this new machine everyone can expect the quality of Monster Media to come up even higher than it was before.warrior-1.jpgwarrior-2.jpg

In The Process with HSBC

June 17th, 2009 by Jon

We are in the middle of a big order coming from HSBC, the world’s local bank. We got some of their artwork the other day and got some samples printed up for them real quick. Here is a sneak peak into the process of the job with some quick pics of the sample vinyl before it went out. If all goes as planned these samples might become very large prints in a very large quantity in a very short time.hsbc-1.jpghsbc-2.jpghsbc-3.jpg

Affliction Sinful Clothing

June 8th, 2009 by Jon

As you may have noticed by now Monster Media is Affliction Clothings first choice when it comes to all of their large format prints and all of their POP prints. The most recent piece coming out of printers is a set of gatorboard prints from their women’s clothing line, Sinful. These three HP prints mounted onto gatorboard came out awesome. The color and clarity is top of the line quality. Affliction is very happy to be picking these up today in the condition they came out in. Check out the photos of the finished products below.

Fuel TV Stencils

June 5th, 2009 by Jon

A recent popular request from a number of our clients have been custom stencils cut out of a few miscellaneous materials we offer. One of the most recent instances of this new fad came from one of our newest clients, FUEL TV. We cut the material out of some of our thin expanded pvc and the finished stencils looked great.

Enjoi Sticker Prints

June 2nd, 2009 by Jon

We had the privilege recently to print some large vinyl stickers for Enjoi, a skateboard company known for using ads to promote their skaters without actually showing them skating. The sticker coloring came out perfect and the clarity was so good you wouldn’t even think that we print everything digital here at Monster Media Inc.
