Electric Check

May 6th, 2009 by Jon

I caught a picture of one of our latest flatbed jobs before it got rushed out. A mock check for Electric Visual, a sunglass company specializing in the action sports industry, was printed on some of our expanded pvc material. The detail and colors came out crisp and clean. Check it out.

Obey Lance Follow-Up

April 27th, 2009 by Jon

A new set of prints just came off the press and out of the cutting room utilizing the same artwork we received a little while ago for a large banner by Shepard Fairey. The quality on these Lance Armstrong wood prints came out exceptionally good on the granulated texture of the material. Flatbed prints always turn out interesting since the material that can be printed on is so diverse and this job was no exception.

We are always excited every year to be part of this huge event and do our part in making the experience for all the fans as perfect as possible. From the restrooms to the stages, our prints can be seen all throughout the field the whole weekend. Here is a photo we stole while a print of one of the park maps was still coming off of our digital flatbed printer.

Some more magazine covers printed on our popular BioBoard material came the shop recently. This time featuring covers from Powder magazine, a part of the Action Sports Group publication team. Beautiful Villa Prints

November 5th, 2008 by Jon

YourVilla, a California based magazine that highlights home, health, fashion & dining, asked for several of their beautiful magazine covers to be printed out with our flatbed printer on some white board material. All three pieces of artwork were rich in color and detail and the final prints did not disappoint their digital sources.

Hangin’ With Famous

October 28th, 2008 by Jon

Recently we finished a massive job with Famous Stars & Straps on our flatbed digital printer and CNC cutting machine. Famous designed up a small piece of artwork to be printed out double-sided on some of a our gatorboard material and needed each individual piece cut out to specifications to be ready to be hung from the ceiling at hundreds of their resale locations. It was a large task but thats the way we like it here at Monster Media.

Our friends at Fineline recently asked us to print a whole set of their signs for a building concept art project they had. The hand drawn art styles really came out well with these signs and they all turned out looking great.

Adventures in Flatbed Printing

March 27th, 2008 by Jon

Here is an example of some of the possible print uses that our flatbed printer is capable of here at Monster Media. With the help of some artwork provided by the guys at Obey and a little ingenuity on Derric’s part we came up with some pretty sweet looking PoP signs printed straight on wood, complete with collapsible feet for easy storage/shipping. This is just the tip of the iceberg of what we can do with our digital flatbed printer.
