Monster Media Inc. has been printing a lot of backdrop banners for bands lately. We can print every style backdrop from vinyl, mesh, cloth, etc… Here is one we just printed for Your Memorial.
We recently printed some canvas banners for Mile9 that were hung in some K-Swiss stores. K-Swiss supplied the canvas (same canvas used to make their vintage shoes) and we printed them on our HP Designjet L65500 latex based ink printer and then sewed them together. They came out really cool and had a total vintage look to them.
Right before the Thanksgiving holiday we had a whole bunch of prints done for Harvest, a large church here in Riverside, for their Christmas celebrations going on this month. Included in the plethora of prints we did for them were several rather large 20′ banners, a couple dozen flag pole banners and a lot of glossy photo paper posters mounted to gatorboard. I grabbed a pic of one of the posters since the banners were two large to set up for a photo. All the artwork was provided by Harvest and it all turned out very vibrant and clear, perfect for conveying that christmasy feeling they were setup for.
Our boys in the warehouse have been working non-stop on a huge order for banners to be used to promote an Aquafina sale at Walmarts all across the country. Mass production of large format banners is one of our specialties here at Monster Media Inc. and we have the product to prove it. Our grand format digital printers have been printing around the clock to get these banners done and the finished product never fails to come out consistent, even after a hundred have been printed.
Carl Zeiss has been a consistent client of ours for some time now. Mostly we do their POP prints for their prescription lenses used in glasses but recently we got an order for a large astronaut print. We did the job on our Ultra Smooth Banner material that has the durability of our standard banner material but the smoothness of a much finer texture. The finished print was then stretched and wrapped around a canvas frame giving it a fine art feel to it.
The Volcom Entertainment rock band, ASG, had us print out an extremely large vinyl banner of the album cover to their latest album, Win Us Over. This banner is an excellent example of really how big we we are willing and able to go with our grand format printing. The colors came out great and the final product looked amazing close up and far away. I had to climb on a ladder just to get high enough to take a pic of the whole banner on this job.
With ComiCon San Diego coming up in the next couple of weeks we usually get a few orders for banners to be used at the convention. Scott Morse, an artist at Pixar, gave us some of his artwork for banners to hang at his booth and I wanted to share how the final prints came out. We printed everything here at Monster Media, good or bad art, but it is always much more enjoyable when we get to print some genuinely cool graphics and these banners are great examples of exactly that.
Another set of mesh vinyl banners came off the press today for our friends at Metal Mulisha. Brian Deegan & Joel Miller needed some large format banners to promote the release of their new album available on iTunes and were were more than happy to oblige with printing the banners for them. These are a great example at how whether we are printing bright vibrant colors or dark grunge themes, our quality is always consistent and always the best.
A lot of clients coming through our doors are from the music industry so we often have jobs involving prints for stage setups and decorations. Here are some pictures from one of the most recent orders that just finished in production, In The Moment. Their banners were printed on a mesh banner material that has a perforated texture which gives it a see through element. This helps for stage production so that banners can be set up on stage while still letting the lights and stage effects come through.
Here is a quick post before the weekend closes of one of our larger banners that shipped out today. This one was for Playstation to help promote their new MLB baseball console game. As you can tell from the scale of the guys holding it up this banner was definitely not one of our smaller prints. Its big and its bold and its just the way we like to print.
