If you have never visited downtown Riverside during the Christmas season, you must put this on your list of things to do, it is an event to remember. This year was the 25 year anniversary for the Riverside Festival of Lights and its quite a sight to see. The Riverside Mission Inn is decorated with hundreds of lights and animated figures to give the historic building some holiday flair. Every year on the day after Thanksgiving there is a light switching ceremony where over a 100,000 people gather to see the festivities and enjoy the vendors selling their holiday goodies. We were asked to print some custom event signage that promoted this grand event for all to see.
Not only do the events signs promote the Festival of Lights, but we also have Jolly old Saint Nick who made an appearance to the annual event. All of the event signage this year werer printed on Coroplast, a light durable material that makes it easy to transport to various locations. Coroplast is also extremely durable for indoor or outdoor display needs. Below we have some event signage promoting Santa’s schedule, he appears to be a busy guy. You could even go to the Festival of Lights website to see what other events were taking place during this holiday season.
The fun did not just top there for the 25th Anniversary of the Festival of Lights! The City of Riverside also had a float in the annual Rose Parade – wow, that is AWESOME. In addition to these event signs, we also printed custom banners to promote the Rose Parade float, that was of course designed after Riverside’s very own historic Mission Inn building. This year for the Festival of Lights was surely an event that the City and all for those who came to see, an event to remember and we are so thrilled to have been a part of this.
Every year Stater Bros. charities puts on the Redland’s Believe Walk to support those who have been affected by cancer. Statistics show that half of all men and one-third of all women in United States will develop cancer during their lifetimes. In the Inland Empire, the population is larger than that of 24 states who deserves the best cancer care. The Believe Walk fundraiser event is one way that can help make this care possible. We had the amazing opportunity once again to print the Believe Walk event signage that was displayed throughout the event itself. Let’s take a look at some the event signage that was produced to promote this annual walk.
Large coroplast signs are great sign options for event signage. Why? They are lightweight, durable and best off all affordable! Look how great the colors look, so clear and crisp. You can see these sign displayed very well from a distance as well as up close.
Now we have some banners. Banners are perfect for events and can be displayed at eye level or up high for distance readability. This banner was printed on our standard 13oz banner material and was hemmed with grommets for easy display ability. As you can see in the title the “L” is the pink ribbon which is the symbol for breast cancer awareness.
Banners, banners everywhere! The Believe Walk draws many people from various communities and would not be possible without the support of their sponsors. We printed several sponsorship banners recognizing those who helped make this event happen. In addition to sponsorship and awareness banners, there were banners made to encourage those who have been affected by cancer, via themselves or through family members. These banners were placed at the start and finish line of the charity walk.
Making a difference is what the Believe Walk is all about. Encouraging, Empowering and Engaging others to be a part of something powerful is what makes this event so special. This annual event is one way to help those in need, both emotionally and physically. We are so pleased to have the opportunity to work with this organization again this year.
Have you heard about the new Rose Parade Float that will feature the Riverside Mission Inn? No? Well, I have news for you – the unveiling took place in September and the city long awaits this amazing exhibit.
The Mission Inn Hotel & Spa, has drawn millions of people to Riverside during the past 25 years by hosting the annual Festival of Lights, will take center stage on the city’s 2018 Rose Parade float, as seen in a design unveiled for the first time.
The float is Riverside’s first Rose Parade float in nearly 60 years and symbolizes the strong bond between the city and the historic hotel. The $300,000+ needed to prepare the float and pay for assorted other expenses were raised by the Greater Riverside Chambers of Commerce Foundation. More than 500,000 people visit Riverside each year during the six-week Festival of Lights, including 75,000 at the annual switch-on ceremony the day after Thanksgiving. The preparation for the Festival of Lights is quite an undertaking and begins in the summer months and includes many man hours, event signage, and most of all…lots and lots of lights.
Monster Media had the opportunity to create the event signage for the unveiling event and it turned out spectacular!
As you can see, the event signage is bold, vibrant and shows off the float image so clearly. This sign was printed on foam core so it is lightweight and easy to move around and display in various locations. This is just the beginning for The Festival of Lights in 2018! As the event draws near, more event signage will be displayed around the city.
Don’t live in Riverside? Not a problem, watch for the Mission Inn float on New Year’s Day and see how beautiful the historic building is.
SoCal Harvest was an event that featured musical performances from top Christian artists and had a evangelist message by Pastor Greg Laurie at Angel Stadium in Anaheim, California. This massive event is designed for Christians to invite family members, coworkers, neighbors and friends to come hear a life-changing message of the gospel in a non-threatening, entertaining environment. The SoCal Harvest Crusade was televised for those who are not able to attend in person and is seen all over the United States. Harvest has been hosting the crusades for over 25 years and the event size continues to grow.
We were fortunate to have the opportunity to do the event signage for the stage background for this event and it turned out so AWESOME!
Each one of these panels were hand cut, trimmed and printed to create a multi-level stage background. The craftmanship and delicate care to create each piece so it would look perfect for the world to see, was our top priority. Oversized large event signage can make such a huge impact on your event. Stage presence is what was needed here and this design was eye-catching, with depth and movement.
Whether you are in need of small event signs or large ones, we handle your orders with precision and care to meet your needs. We look forward to assisting Harvest with their SoCal event again next year.

Have you seen the latest art exhibit at the Riverside Art Museum (RAM)? Their newest exhibit just went up on August 26th, and its one of our favorite local artist’s work. RAM is pleased to present Potatostamp, a retrospective of Jeff Soto’s posters and art prints from the last 15 years. This exhibit will also feature over 70 posters, and over 40 original ink drawings. Jeff’s exhibit will be featured until January 12, 2018 and they are having an opening ceremony on September 7th. We had the honor to print an amazing oversized event banner for the outside of the museum to promote this exhibit.
Jeff Soto – Potatostamp event banner
Wow! Talk about an amazing oversized event banner. You will see this beautiful banner hanging the front side of the art museum for the duration of the exhibit. The colors and image vivdiness are so bold, this banner is a piece of art itself.
Another event banner we printed for RAM is for the Myth & Mirage: Inland Southern California, Birthplace for the Spanish Colonial Revival. This amazing event banner will surely draw attention hanging from the outside of the museum. Both of these event banners were printed on our 13oz vinyl material, which is very durable for outdoor use. Our UV inks help prevent fading from the harsh sun rays and keep the banners looking vibrant and fresh.
Large oversized banners are a great way to promote your events and give your viewers from up close or afar all the information you have to share about your events. Look for the RAM event banners up over the next few days, it’s worth driving by to see, but even more so to stop and see what is inside.

If you love the cold and love Hockey, we have some great photos to share with you. One of our latest projects we had the opportunity to work on was for Johnny’s Ice House in Chicago. Johnny’s Ice House has two locations in the Chicago area, East and West. This ice house is the official practice home of the Chicago Blackhawks and offers both adults and children the opportunity to learn, play and enjoy the sportsmanship of the game of hockey. Since 1997, the East Ice House has offered a state of the art facility with all the bells and whistles (even indoor heated parking). Another feature they have is a Bar and Grill that overlooks the ice. The Stanley Club Bar & Grill wanted historical images displayed all over their walls and we were elated to help enhance those historical images by printing custom wood prints Check out how the finished products turned out.
What a great way to eat, enjoy the game and see history surrounding you. I love how the vintage images keep their old look with natural wood panels. This was a perfect choice for the history wall. If ever in the Windy City, you might wish to blow through Johnny’s Ice House and see what is happening on the rink.
