Every year for the past six years Red Bull has put on an event called SlopeSoakers. SlopeSoakers is basically a skiing and snowboarding competition which was held at Copper Mountain in Colorado. This year the event was on April 15, 2017 and was bigger than ever! We worked with Red Bull on their awards and this has definitely been one of my favorite projects by far! Judging at SlopeSoakers was broken down into four categories, allowing participants to earn up to ten points in each category. The categories were costume & creativity, tricks & style, skimming steez, and crowd factor. They also were giving awards for Best Overall Skier Male & Female, Best Overall Boarder Male & Female, Best Costume, Best Crash, and Best Trick Skier and Boarder. So you can see a lot of awards were needed for this competition. https://www.instagram.com/p/BS7bF87l-JF/ Red Bull’s design for their custom wood awards was very fun and unique and we had a great time bringing their vision to life. The awards were very intricate and had a wood die-cut piece pop up too! Each award had a unique tiki design and varied in sizes. Such fun memorabilia for the winners to bring home and a cool project for us as well.
